Job summary

City of Celina is seeking an Athletics Coordinator to coordinate, implement, and evaluate youth and adult athletic programs, leagues, tournaments, and facility rentals. You will assist with day-to-day operations by coordinating staff, independent contractors, volunteers, and facility use while providing administrative support, including record keeping, reporting, purchasing, and budget tracking.

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sport Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in athletic programming.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
• Must possess valid class C driver’s license.
• Proactive, solution-focused mindset.
