Job summary

City of Celina is seeking a Utility Line Maintenance Crew Leader to supervise and assist in the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of water systems and related equipment. You will issue work orders, manage inventory, and oversee vehicle and tool maintenance while guiding crew on traffic control.

• Three (3) years water utility maintenance or construction experience.
• Texas Class A Commercial Driver License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Must possess a TCEQ Class C Water License.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background, and MVR check.
• Must possess a valid Class C driver's license.

As the Utility Line Maintenance Crew Leader, you will: Supervise and participate in the technical construction, installation, repair and maintenance, treatment facilities, utility systems and utility devices. Issue work orders and assignments, equipment, tools, materials and supplies necessary to complete work projects as well as track an order water repair parts and inventory. Inspect, direct, and oversee the maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of assigned vehicles, equipment, and tools. Instruct crew members in the placement of traffic warning signs, cones, and barricades.

The City of Celina operates on a 4-day work week.
