Job summary

RiverVista Behavioral Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking an RN for night shift to assess and plan patient care, document nursing findings, and supervise the shift team to ensure high-quality care.

You will monitor patients, administer medications per policy, complete assessments, and communicate responses to the interdisciplinary team while upholding patient rights and supporting detox protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• New Grad RN welcome.
• Psychiatric nursing experience is a plus.

Shift: 3 12 shifts, with every other weekend rotation

Hours: 7p-7a

$10 000 Sign-On Bonus

The Role Itself

Assesses and plan patient care within set timeframes, documenting nursing findings according to policies.

Supervises the shift team, delegating tasks and ensuring quality nursing care delivery.

Monitors patients for changes in condition, follows medication administration policies, and maintains empathy and respect in interactions.

Performs comprehensive nursing assessments and ensures accurate transcription and administration of physician orders.

Communicates patient responses to the interdisciplinary team, orients patients/families to the program, and upholds patient rights.

Monitors patients for changes in condition, follows detox protocol, and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
