Job summary

River Vista Behavioral Hospital is seeking a full-time nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on a 3 12 shift with every other weekend rotation. The role involves supervising a shift team, ensuring quality care, and documenting nursing findings in accordance with policy.

Schedule is 7a-7p in Columbus, OH area. Eligible candidates must have an RN license, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and be 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and plan patient care within set timeframes, documenting nursing findings according to policies.
• Supervises the shift team, delegating tasks and ensuring quality nursing care delivery.
• Monitors patients for changes in condition, follows medication administration policies, and maintains empathy and respect in interactions.
• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments and ensures accurate transcription and administration of physician orders.
• Communicates patient responses to the interdisciplinary team, orients patients/families to the program, and upholds patient rights.
• Monitors patients for changes in condition, follows detox protocol, and performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
