Job summary

ClearVista Behavioral Hospital in Lorain, OH is seeking a Night Shift RN to provide leadership and clinical oversight in a psychiatric setting. You will oversee patient care, ensure safety, and make critical clinical decisions during overnight hours.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in psychiatric/behavioral health leadership and can work independently on a night shift, including every other weekend rotation. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years psychiatric/behavioral health leadership experience (charge/assistant manager acceptable).
• Must be 21 or older.
• New graduate RNs welcome.
• Ability to work independently on night shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete ongoing patient assessments and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and manage overnight treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment through consistent monitoring.
• Lead nursing care and support staff during overnight hours.
• Coordinate with providers and on-call leadership as needed.
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
