Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health in Raleigh, NC seeks a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C with addiction medicine experience to provide comprehensive psychiatric care in a residential setting. The clinician will assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions, perform histories and physicals, and follow up medically.

You will collaborate with psychiatrists and an interprofessional team, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Board certification as PMHNP/FNP/PA-C.
• Active and unrestricted APRN license in North Carolina.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in North Carolina.
• Behavioral health/addiction treatment experience preferred.
• Active license and ability to practice in Raleigh area.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant with addiction medicine experience to join our team. The clinician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, to patients with a variety of mental health conditions in a residential treatment setting in addition to history and physicals and medical follow-up. This role involves collaborating with our team of psychiatrists and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.


• Complete history and physicals


• Medical follow-up


• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.


• Prescribe and manage psychopharmacological treatments.


• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.


• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.


• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning meetings, and other collaborative efforts.


• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric care and participate in continuing education activities.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.


• Two years of experience working as a PMHNP/FNP/PA-C is preferred.


• Board Certification as PMHNP/FNP/PA-C.


• Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience preferred.


• Active and unrestricted APRN license in North Carolina.


• DEA registration and prescriptive authority in North Carolina.


• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions.

• This is an in-person position. Must be within commuting distance of Raleigh, North Carolina.
