Job summary

Planet Fitness in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver an outstanding Judgement Free member experience. You will answer phones, greet members, sign up new members, log amenities, and process purchases at the point of sale system.

You will also promote fitness instruction classes and maintain a clean, safe club environment. The role requires customer service experience, a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and being at least 18 years old.

Full - Time: Starting at $15 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
