Job summary

Planet Fitness in Canal Winchester, OH is hiring a Customer Service Representative to provide a superior member experience. The role includes greeting members, answering calls, signing up new members, and promoting fitness classes in a Judgement Free environment.

The position requires 18+ age, a high school diploma or GED (preferred), and basic computer skills. The job offers full-time hours with a schedule from 2pm-10pm, Monday through Friday, and starting pay at $12 per hour with periodic

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests for an exceptional Judgement Free experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using the information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases at the point of sale.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to active and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

QualificationsJob Requirements

• Customer service experience

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
