Job summary

Planet Fitness in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. Starting at $12 per hour, this full-time role offers a structured schedule: Monday 4:45AM-12:45PM and Tuesday-Friday 6:00AM-2:00PM, with hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months after the first year.

You will greet members, answer phones, sign up and log amenities, assist with purchases at the POS, and promote fitness classes.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
