Job summary

Planet Fitness Bristol is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet members, sign up new members, and respond to inquiries with a friendly, informative approach.

You will process sales at the point of sale, promote fitness programs, and maintain a clean, safe club environment in a fast-paced setting. Entry-level friendly team, with opportunity for growth and paid benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency for POS and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members and assist with sign-ups and tours.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness classes to members and new sign-ups.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Full - Time: Starting at $XX per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
