Job summary

National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise operator, is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Stow, OH. The role focuses on delivering a top-tier Judgement Free member experience, answering calls, greeting members, signing up new members, and logging amenities at a Planet Fitness club.

You will respond to questions professionally, process purchases through the POS, and promote fitness classes while maintaining a clean, safe club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Basic computer skills required; high school diploma preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Frequent lifting and physical demands may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospects, and guests.
• Answer phones and greet members, sign up new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized club environment.

Job Details: Job Location: L093 Stow - Stow, OH 44221, Job Shift: Second Shift, Full - Time: Starting at $12 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
