Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Alaska is seeking a FSQA Technician to support safety, quality, and legality of products at the plant level. You will assist the FSQA Manager with the Quality Management Program, conducting tests, documenting data, and ensuring HACCP standards are followed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a food production environment.
• High school diploma or GED; or related experience and training.
• Reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct standardized tests to ensure product compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Document data from QA activities per HACCP and company policies.
• Record test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content, and grades.
• Communicate issues and recommend process improvements to QA/Production management.
• Prepare reports communicating QA results to production.
