Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. You will participate in safeguarding product safety and quality across manufacturing processes, performing inspections, documenting results, and supporting corrective actions.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, ability to work B shift in a cold/hot environment, and adherence to safety protocols. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to lead by example with the hourly workforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in food manufacturing or related QA experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
• Lock Out Tag Out certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
• Document and calculate results accurately.
• Take corrective action by alerting personnel and reporting results.
• Identify, segregate, and isolate non-conforming products.
• Handle additional assignments as requested.
