Job summary

Three Dog Bakery is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician to join our 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday - Thursday). You will act as the first checkpoint in the FSQA program and work with Production, Packaging, and Receiving to uphold our standards.

Reporting to the FSQA Manager, you will perform environmental sampling, monitor GMPs, collect and review records, and deliver FSQA training to staff while ensuring OSHA-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and speak technical English.
• 1 year as a quality, maintenance, or operations technician at a manufacturer utilizing GFSI standards.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to handle allergens and proteins including peanuts and pork.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Site Food Safety and Quality Culture Champion and ensure GMP policy adherence.
• Complete monitoring activities and maintain accurate reports and records (e.g., GMP records, temp logs).
• Involved in quality control activities such as receiving, inspections, and finished product checks.
• Perform post-operation sanitation monitoring of the processing environment and equipment.
• Deliver FSQA training to new and existing associates.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and equipment calibration verification.
• Ensure escalations are followed for product non-conformances and hold policy adherence.
