US Foods is seeking a FSQA Technician for the Gourmet Ranch site in Houston, TX. The role focuses on improving product quality and consistency through checks at receiving, processing and shipping, while supporting implementation of GFSI standards and QA programs.

The position involves temperature and quality inspections, calibration tasks, and collaboration with FSQA and operations teams. Overtime and shift differential apply; benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a food production environment.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• HACCP certification preferred.
• USDA or FDA experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform incoming raw material check, including trailer inspection, box inspection, product appearance and temperature.
• Perform outgoing finished product inspection, verify temperatures and weights, and inspect trailers.
• Conduct work in progress QC tasks, including equipment calibration and metal detector monitoring.
• Assist with inventory control and daily quality checks.
• Complete and submit regular reports for statistical or operational analysis.
• Provide training to employees when necessary.
