Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Stock Yards FSQA Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 10:00 am - 6:30 pm; some Saturdays). You will perform incoming/outgoing QC checks, monitor temperature, weight, and CCPs, and assist with inventory and reporting to ensure compliance with USDA and GMPs, in a refrigerated plant environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in food production, a High School Diploma or GED, and HACCP is preferred. Role offers overtime and shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming raw material checks (trailer cleanliness, temp, condition).
• Perform outgoing finished product inspection for order accuracy and packaging.
• Monitor CCP verification and antimicrobial application.
• Assist with inventory control and daily quality checks on steak cutting.
• Prepare regular reports for statistical or operational analysis.
• Ensure compliance with USDA/FSIS/OSHA/state/local regulations.
