Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. is seeking a capable FSQA Supervisor to lead a QA team on the 3rd shift, ensuring safe and compliant production with HACCP/SSOP programs. You will oversee sanitation inspections, audits, and issue investigations to meet partner quality standards.

The role requires USDA-regulated facility leadership experience or a relevant degree with leadership, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. On-site with weekend work as described.

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory or lead experience in a USDA regulated facility, or a bachelor’s degree with two years of leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills; team-focused and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to organize work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter with MS Office 365 experience (Word, Excel, SharePoint & Planner) and openness to learning new tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, emphasis food science or closely related field (preferred).
• Experience in SQF Audited facilities or poultry industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and leads a team of QA Techs to ensure compliance to Food Safety & Quality programs, including pre-operational sanitation inspections.
• Guides the team through internal audits and advises management on HACCP-related programs and trainings.
• Helps investigate internal food safety/quality issues reported during the shift.
• Serves as a liaison to USDA communicating day-to-day functions and results.
• Oversees training and performance of about 15 team members and maintains shift documentation.
