Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a seasoned FSQA professional to manage supplier and contract manufacturer food safety and quality expectations. You will lead a team, set partner standards, and drive conformance with Tyson requirements across regulatory guidelines.

You will analyze issues, support product dispositions, and partner with R&D, IPL, Sales, and BU to bolster performance while mitigating risk. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8–10+ years’ experience in food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in managing teams in the manufacture of high-risk foods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a strong team dedicated to partner suitability and Tyson requirements.
• Develop expectations for external partners to ensure conformance to specifications and regulations.
• Analyze and resolve food safety/quality issues and support product dispositions.
• Collaborate with R&D, IPL, Sales, and BU to support business growth and risk management.
