Job summary

The Tyson Foods Caseyville Plant is seeking a FSQA Supervisor to lead a small team of FSQA technicians on a designated shift, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards across production and finished goods.

You will conduct audits, verify records, and prepare for GFSI and customer audits, train staff, address customer complaints and regulatory communication, and help maintain GMP, HACCP, USDA, and SSOP standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in a food manufacturing environment is required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• HACCP/HARPC certifications are preferred, along with knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP and SSOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA technicians on the assigned shift.
• Verify production paperwork and perform production floor checks.
• Conduct audits and support FSQA manager to ensure quality standards.
• Prepare facility for GFSI and customer audits.
• Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues.
• Communicate with onsite regulators (USDA).
• Perform GMP and housekeeping audits and HACCP reassessment.
• Facilitate Team Member food safety training.
• Possess flexibility to cover other shifts and occasional weekends.
