Job summary

Trident Seafoods, North America’s largest vertically integrated seafood company, seeks an Assistant FSQA Manager to lead QA staff and ensure products meet established quality standards. You will develop inspection procedures, analyze issues, and maintain records in a fast-paced seafood production environment.

Requirements include 3+ years in QA or supervisory roles, HACCP knowledge, and a Bachelor’s degree with HACCP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HACCP regulations, Food Safety, and Audit procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Strong quality control and inspection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises a group of employees in the QA program.
• Develops/adapts inspection equipment to meet quality standards.
• Maintains inspection reports and records.
• Investigates causes of faulty work and advises corrective actions.
• Oversees HACCP monitoring to meet CCP limits.
• Plans and assigns QA team work with the QA Manager.
• Responds to complex customer inquiries with accurate information.

Education

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
