Blount Fine Foods Corp. in Warren, RI, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the second shift (2pm-10pm) to inspect, repair and maintain processing equipment, utilities and facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, operate tools and forklifts, and document work orders to ensure safe, efficient operations. The role requires basic trade skills and the ability to read electrical/mechanical diagrams, with strong time management in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High school diploma with a trade school certification and/or 2 years related experience.
• Basic Variable Frequency Drive problem solving.
• Basic safety circuit problem solving.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
• Reading schematics and basic electrical identification.

Responsabilidades

• Routinely inspect equipment to identify/report potential safety issues or failures.
• Routinely inspect plant utilities to identify/report potential failures.
• Perform maintenance duties and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Repair to maintain operational ability and integrity of equipment, utilities and facilities.
• Maintain and update Work Orders and Preventive Maintenance Worksheets.
• Operate power tools and measuring instruments safely.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (Plant Certification).
• Follow Maintenance Programs and Company Policies.
