Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Experience with food safety and quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
• Adhere to GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and report issues affecting safety or quality.
• Follow USDA/FSIS, FDA, Customer and MFI guidelines.
• Collect in-process and finished product samples and perform tests per specs.
• Use SAP to access and print product specifications, formulas, and mixing instructions.
• Train production employees on food safety and quality requirements.
• Calibrate pH meters, thermometers, and scales; follow up on defective equipment.
• Provide COAs to customers requesting finished product test results.
• Maintain accurate documentation of tests and results.
• Cross-train to be a back-up FSQ Technician.
