Job summary

Michael Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality/FSQ Technician to ensure product safety and quality across the production line in Britt, Iowa. You will monitor and enforce food safety programs, perform in-process tests, and support training to maintain MFI standards.

This role requires adherence to GMPs, USDA/FSIS/FDA guidelines, and accurate documentation. Strong basic math, labeling accuracy, and teamwork are essential for daily operations in a fast-paced egg processing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend English instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.
• Adhere to GMPs and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Follow USDA/FSIS/FDA and customer guidelines.
• Collect samples and perform tests per specs (salt, solids, pH, temp, moisture).
• Use SAP to access product specs and instructions.
• Train production employees on safety and quality requirements.
