Michael Foods, Inc. is seeking a Quality Systems Technician at our Britt, Iowa facility to ensure food safety and product quality across production lines.

You will monitor and implement quality systems, collaborate with departments, and help maintain compliance with USDA/FSIS/FDA guidelines. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to train staff on safety and quality practices, and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience preferred.
• Familiar with food safety and quality systems.
• Ability to read English instructions and record data.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety rules.

Responsabilités

• Ensure food safety and quality of MFI products.
• Adhere to GMPs and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Follow USDA/FSIS/FDA guidelines and customer specs.
• Collect samples and perform basic tests for compliance.
• Access product specifications using SAP and print them.
• Train production staff on food safety and quality requirements.
• Document test results and maintain traceable records.
• Support weekend coverage and cross-training as needed.
