HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator for FSER to champion quality and patient safety. You will leverage 3–5 years of Medical Technologist experience to review QA data, ensure compliant records, and guide corrective actions across departments.

Required is a 4-year degree in Medical Technology and a Florida Supervisor License or the ability to obtain one during the interview process, plus a license in Blood Bank/Immunohematology or Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent
• Florida supervisor license or ability to obtain during interview
• Supervisor license in Blood Bank/Immunohematology, Chemistry or Hematology, Microbiology, & Serology
• 3–5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist

Responsabilités

• Review proficiency testing and quality assurance data and collaborate on corrective actions.
• Complete records/documentation for QA and point-of-care testing.
• Interpret patient results with sound judgment and independent thinking.
• Monitor licensure status and assist in preparing licensure paperwork (CAP, CLIA, AHCA).
• Prepare annual assessment of Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Regulatory performance.
• Serve as a resource on point-of-care testing, QC, QA and regulatory affairs
