HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a FSER Lab Coordinator to lead quality assurance and regulatory initiatives within the laboratory services. You will review proficiency data, ensure proper documentation, and support licensure and accreditation processes to drive patient care excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology, Florida supervisor licensure, and 3–5 years as a Medical Technologist.

Qualifications

• A 4-Year/Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology.
• A State of Florida Supervisor License OR the ability to obtain a license during the interview process.
• Supervisor license in Blood Bank/Immunohematology, Chemistry or Hematology, Microbiology, & Serology
• 3-5 years of previous experience as a Medical Technologist

Responsabilités

• Review proficiency testing and quality assurance data and develop corrective action plans with FSEDs and facility POC departments.
• Complete all records/documentation pertaining to quality assurance and point-of-care testing records.
• Use good judgment and independent thinking in correlation and interpretation of patient results.
• Monitor licensure status and assist with licensure and renewal paperwork (CAP, CLIA, AHCA, business license).
• Prepare annual assessment of Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Regulatory performance and review data with Directors to identify corrective actions.
• Serve as a resource regarding point-of-care testing, quality control, quality assurance and regulatory affairs
