Job summary

Lamb Weston in Boardman, Oregon is hiring an L3 Fryer Op Trainee to monitor fryers, blanchers and dryers, and help ensure product quality and process control. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and a clear growth path within a global leader in the fry industry.

You will gain experience with oil management, filtration, SSOPs and equipment operation in a fast-paced plant environment. A high school diploma is preferred; forklift and sanitation certifications are required or provided

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Lock-out/Tag-out, forklift and sanitation certifications are required; training provided if not qualified.
• Experience driving forklift in a warehouse/manufacturing setting preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills, including data entry and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blancher, dryer and fryer equipment.
• Maintain oil levels, temperature and process times per targets.
• Perform tests to verify oil quality, color and salt content.
• Follow SSOPs and keep fryer area clean and safe.
