Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is hiring a Fry Cook to join our team in Florida. You will uphold high quality and consistency for every dish while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.

Responsibilities include preparing high-quality cuisine, ensuring proper portioning and presentation, stocking line stations, and maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2 years’ experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience.
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Basic food cost knowledge.
• Understanding and knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• As a fry cook, you maintain high quality standards for each dish that is sent out.
• Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including equipment.
• Prepares item for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning.
• Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
• Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
