As a Frozen Food/Dairy Clerk, you’ll showcase the best of our FF/D offerings. Whether stocking milk, yogurt, frozen vegetables, pizza, ice cream, or assisting guests in finding what they need, you'll be vital in delivering an exceptional shopping experience with high-quality products.

Job Description

What You'll Do: As a Festival Foods Frozen Foods & Dairy Associate, you will:

• Provide Helpful Guest Service: Deliver excellent customer service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing guest concerns with professionalism and care. Your willingness to assist guests will positively impact their experience.
• Assist with Product Requests: Help guests locate specific frozen or dairy items and take special orders when needed.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the sales floor neat, tidy, and free of spills. Regularly stock and maintain product levels according to company standards.
• Efficient Inventory Management: Rotate stock using the first-in, first-out method to ensure products are fresh and well-displayed.
• Ensure Product Availability: Keep products available by filling display items and monitoring inventory levels to meet department goals.
• Support Department Standards: Maintain quality, cleanliness, and product availability in the Frozen/Dairy department.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice for absences to find replacements when needed.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

To succeed as a Frozen Food and Dairy Clerk, you should have:

• Effective Communication Skills: Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with guests, leaders, and team members.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and company policies, including recognizing and addressing safety hazards.
• Equipment Knowledge: Ability to learn equipment and procedures such as proper lifting techniques, trash compactors, balers, and power equipment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and kneeling regularly
• Full upper body mobility
• Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly

Work Schedule:

This part-time role primarily involves afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail grocery setting.
