Reports To: Frozen Food/Dairy Department Manager

As a Frozen Food/Dairy Clerk, you'll highlight our offerings—stocking milk, yogurt, frozen vegetables, pizza, ice cream, and assisting guests in finding what they need, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.

Job Description

What You'll Do: As a Festival Foods Frozen Foods & Dairy Associate, you will:

  • Provide Helpful Guest Service: Offer excellent customer service, greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and kindly.
  • Assist with Product Requests: Help guests find specific frozen or dairy items and take special orders when needed.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the sales floor tidy, clean spills, and stock products per standards.
  • Efficient Inventory Management: Use first-in, first-out method to rotate stock and ensure proper product display.
  • Ensure Product Availability: Keep products available and well-stocked to meet department goals.
  • Support Department Standards: Maintain quality, cleanliness, and product availability.
  • Honor Commitments: Attend work as scheduled and notify in case of absences.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

To succeed, you should have:

  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Safety Awareness: Understanding safety protocols and recognizing hazards.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Ability to learn equipment use, including lifting techniques and machinery.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
  • Full upper body mobility.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.

Work Schedule:

This part-time role primarily involves afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail grocery setting.
