Pay Rate Starting at: Level 15.50/hr. Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.

SUMMARY

The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. Associates must possess full knowledge of all dairy/frozen food items, including their location. They are responsible for receiving and processing products, stocking shelves, maintaining a clean department, and providing attentive and courteous customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Dairy/Frozen Food operations, safety, and sanitation.
• Adhere to company policies by properly receiving, handling, storing, and stocking products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating products.
• Follow shelf management guidelines, including plan-o-gram layouts and handling new or discontinued items.
• Ensure coolers, freezers, and cases are at proper temperatures and functioning correctly.
• Follow directions from the Dairy/Frozen Manager and MOD, and inform appropriate personnel of any issues.
• Assist with bagging and cashing at the front end if needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 16 years old; certain functions/tasks require being 18 years old.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
