Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas and customer service experience helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clear direction to team.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise day-to-day store operations across departments.
• Mentor and coach team members, implementing strategies for improved customer service and sales.
• Oversee staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promote succession planning and development paths; participate in promotion decisions.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions; advise on discharge decisions.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales targets and maintain shrink within department.
• Model exceptional, fast, friendly customer service and communicate company initiatives in team meetings.
• Ensure team is trained and completes required trainings; maintain safety standards.
• Spend most of the time in-store engaging with customers and team members to ensure excellent service.
• Maintain safety, attendance reliability and adherence to company policies.
