Coborn’s, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Department Manager for the Frozen & Dairy department in Fargo, ND.

You will support the department manager with operations, inventory, and customer service, while directing staff on shift and ensuring high standards of freshness and presentation. The role involves register duties, training new team members, and maintaining strong teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail with frontline customer service preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Cash handling and register operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Frozen & Dairy Department Manager in daily operations.
• Direct workload and supervise staff during shifts, including counseling and performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records, inventory, shrink control and freshness by rotating out-of-date merchandise.
• Provide front-end support by running a register and assisting customers as needed.
