Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks on designated multi-family and commercial routes. You will collect waste and recyclables, transfer loads to appropriate facilities, and service multiple customers per day.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, customer interactions, and accurate logbook reporting while complying with safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Able to safely operate the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks along designated routes to collect solid waste or recyclables.
• Open enclosures or gates to access cans and position cans for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; report issues to supervisor.
