Zusammenfassung

GeoStabilization International (GSI) is seeking traveling field mechanics to keep mission-critical equipment running on active job sites across North America. You’ll travel from home to sites, sometimes for two weeks, with on-call rotations and weekends at home.

You’ll diagnose fast, think independently, and solve problems others can’t in remote, high-pressure conditions, performing preventive maintenance and rapid repairs with a full set of provided tools and a corporate card for travel

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently with high ownership.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in the field
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Execute rapid-response repairs to keep crews operational
• Identify root causes, not just symptoms
• Track and document work, parts, and equipment status
• Train operators on basic maintenance and early issue detection
• Travel extensively and work in physically demanding environments
