Job summary

AMP Sales and Marketing, Sinclair in New Bern, NC seeks a hands-on Station Manager to drive revenue growth with a digital-first strategy. You will co-author the operating plan with the GM, own digital growth, and translate strategy into measurable sales and operational execution.

You will oversee the revenue engine, partner with the GM on budgets, forecasts, and promotions, and lead the sales team to deliver integrated campaigns that blend linear and digital assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior management at a TV station or media company with a hands-on background in TV advertising sales and operations.
• Proven track record growing digital revenue across OTT/CTV, programmatic, social, email, and digital sponsorships.
• Strong data, analytics, and attribution capabilities to translate metrics into pricing and sales programs.
• Experience co-creating operating plans / P&L management with station leadership; budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Demonstrated leadership: hiring, coaching, motivating, and accountability of sales and operations teams.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills; adept with modern prospecting tools (CRM, AI).
• Excellent written and oral communication; comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
• Technical/tools familiarity: Excel, PowerPoint, CRM; programmatic platforms; OSI or similar traffic/billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale digital product offerings (OTT/CTV, programmatic, social, email, local search, lead-gen).
• Partner with the GM to set the Operating Plan: budgets, targets, staffing, promotions calendar, contingencies.
• Lead sales strategy and execution; train and coach sales team to sell integrated campaigns with digital components.
• Own sales forecasting, pipeline health, and KPI reporting; use analytics to drive pricing.
• Drive new business development with modern prospecting techniques (CRM, AI tools).
• Manage employee relations and station continuity during breaking events.
• Hire, mentor, and hold staff accountable; foster a results-driven culture.
• Build strong local client relationships and identify non-traditional revenue opportunities.
• Ensure cross-department alignment across news, promotions, engineering, finance.
