Job summary

Ecotal is seeking a highly motivated PV maintenance technician for field service across North and Central Atlantic regions. The role focuses on preventive maintenance of solar facilities with frequent travel to sites in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic.

You will perform DC/AC testing, equipment inspections, and safety checks while adhering to NFPA 70E and OSHA 10 guidelines. Valid driver’s license required; travel up to 90%+ is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with PV maintenance and field testing.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and perform DC/AC tests.
• Knowledge of safety standards and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site preventive maintenance of solar PV facilities.
• Conduct DC/AC testing including polarity, voltage, insulation, I-V tracing.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, meters, and stock.
• Create service reports and manage spare parts inventory.
