ACT Power Services, LLC, based in the Raleigh, NC area, is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician (Traveling) to oversee onsite maintenance of solar modules, strings, trackers and inverters while prioritizing safety and quality of workmanship.

You will lead field crew activities, onboard new members, document all work in CMMS, manage parts inventory, and ensure efficient daily operations with 50–70% travel to solar sites.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working in solar PV preferred.
• Ability to read site drawings and interpret technical data.
• Proficient in accurately documenting maintenance work in CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Motivate team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Onboard and train new crew in safety, procedures, software, and documentation.
• Provide clear guidance for daily onsite tasks and ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain thorough work summaries for project tracking and communication.
• Monitor parts inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and replaced as needed.
