Job summary

You will monitor store activities, respond to incidents, support loss prevention, and train crew on shrinkage prevention and security procedures. This role requires a high school diploma, 18+, the ability to lift up to 40 kg, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Help sales by welcoming and engaging visitors and team participants at the front of the store and at the sales floor; assist guests discover the products they are looking for in-store and online.
• Lead a physical safety culture for our crew participants and visitors by assessing and maintaining safe and secure requirements all through the shop and outside property.
• Respond to and appropriately document security incidents.
• Use escalation tools for guest issues to provide a safe and secure environment for team members and guests.
• Conduct efficient merchandise recoveries and provide arrest assistance as needed, strictly adhering to AP regulations and methods and AP leadership guidance.
• Prevent theft and shrinkage at the front of store by performing receipt checks for exposed high-dollar products.
• Publish appropriate documentation in the system for all incidents following AP policy and procedures.
• Use video surveillance system.
• Train crew participants to apply merchandise protection and audit execution.
• Train and train group participants on operational shrinkage monitoring opportunities as directed with the aid of AP management.
• Execute shrinkage action plans set by AP management to reduce loss awareness areas.
• Model run safely while maintaining a smooth shop for visitors and team members.
• Provide a vendor and a purchasing experience that meets the needs of the guest.
• Demonstrate a lifestyle of ethical behavior, security and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
