Target is hiring a Security Specialist for our Virginia, MN store. The role focuses on safety, guest service, and loss prevention, using intelligence-led tactics to protect guests and team members.

You will monitor stores via video systems, document incidents in our case management tool, and assist with de-escalation and crisis response. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Flexible shifts include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other tech.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Interact with guests to deliver an easy, inspiring shopping experience.
• Respond to security incidents and document in the case management system.
• Use Target's video surveillance system and de-escalation techniques.
• conduct merchandise theft recoveries and support AP policies.
• Maintain safe store environment and assist teammates as needed.
