Job summary

Ruby's Place dba Restorative Pathways (RP) in Alameda, CA seeks a Program Advocate to support Anchor Village operations. This in-person, full-time role focuses on creating a safe, welcoming environment for participants and connecting them to available services.

You will work under the Site Coordinator to ensure program guidelines are followed, assist with daily activities, and provide direct support to individuals experiencing homelessness. A strong survivor-centered approach is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in social services or homelessness settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct participant support at Anchor Village, greeting participants and explaining program guidelines.
• Monitor program spaces and respond to safety concerns using de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with daily program operations, setup, service coordination, and participant flow.
• Maintain shift logs and document participant interactions and incidents.
• Provide referrals to case management, housing navigation, and community resources.
• Complete functional timesheets and participate in supervision.
