Ruby's Place dba Restorative Pathways (RP) seeks a Program Advocate for Anchor Village in Alameda, CA. This in-person, 16 hours/week, non-exempt role supports daily operations and participant services.

The Advocate provides frontline support, maintains safe spaces, coordinates referrals, and works with the Site Coordinator and team to ensure trauma-informed engagement for participants experiencing homelessness.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in shelters, day centers, or outreach programs preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must have CA driver license, insurance, and pass RP insurance driver approval.

Responsabilidades

• Direct Participant Support: assist participants accessing services, greet and orient, provide information, maintain welcoming environment.
• Program Monitoring and Safety: monitor spaces, conduct site checks, de-escalate conflicts, report safety concerns.
• Program Operations Support: assist with daily activities, open/close procedures, ensure spaces are clean and ready.
• Documentation and Communication: maintain shift logs, communicate updates to Site Coordinator, support reporting.
• Participant Engagement and Referrals: encourage service use, provide referrals, support access to resources.
• Other duties: complete timesheets, participate in supervision, document processes.
