R1 RCM is seeking a Customer Service Representative - Patient Registration for the LifePoint Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, TX. This PRN, part-time role involves assisting patients at check-in, managing insurance details, and supporting hospital operations with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

You will join a team delivering high-quality patient experiences, with cross-training across departments and a rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients with the check-in process across multiple computer systems.
• Answer phones and collect accurate patient information quickly.
• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answering questions with confidence.
• Build trust with patients during moments of illness or stress.
• Navigate insurance plans, enter demographics, collect co-pays, and provide cost estimates when needed.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
