Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Olathe, KS to lead frontline staff in daily sortation operations, uphold the Safety Above All Culture, and ensure compliance with FedEx policies and governmental regulations.

You will hire, coach, train, and evaluate a team of Package Handlers and administrative staff, monitor performance, communicate goals, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6 months supervisory or package-handler experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and assigned staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with FXG policies and regulations.
• Plan, organize, and direct operations, manage costs and quality.
• Lead meetings and communicate goals to teams.
• Mentor less-experienced supervisors.
