Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to assist physicians, perform lab procedures, administer medications, immunizations and IV therapy under supervision in a busy clinic.

You will prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies, document patient information for appropriate care, support care management initiatives and ensure safety through infection control and accurate charting. Strong communication, organization and computer skills with EMR experience are essential.

Qualifications

• LPN license issued by NC state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days.
• Completion of accredited Practical Nursing program.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and room patients for exams, document vitals and health info.
• Perform laboratory procedures with aseptic technique.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy within scope.
• Provide patient education and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and equipment.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
