Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Buena Park seeks a Loss Prevention Associate to support store management, deter theft with a body worn camera, and maintain a safe shopping environment. You will partner with store teams to protect the Company brand and ensure excellent customer experience.

Key duties include standing at the front of the store, responding to requests, reporting incidents, and adhering to policies. Starting pay range is USD 16.90 to 18.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication.

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• 0–2 years retail or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance in the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a Company approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers appropriately and demonstrate courtesy and respect.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a manager.
• Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
