Job summary

TJX Companies in San Jose is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to deter theft, support store safety, and assist customers. You will wear a Body Worn Camera, greet customers, and coordinate with store management as part of a team focused on protecting the shopping environment.

The role requires 0–2 years of retail or security experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a proper and professional stance at the front of the store.
• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent loss/dishonesty.
• Review the Store Emergency Response Guide.
• Wear a complete company-approved uniform including a Body Worn Camera.
• Greet customers appropriately with courtesy and respect.
• Position yourself at the front of the store or in a department.
• Refer customers to store management or customer service via radio.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or incidents to LP or management.
• Perform a closing safety sweep with a manager.
• Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure.
• Document incidents in AIIM Case Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
