Job summary

Turing is looking for a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work at the forefront of Generative AI deployments in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will partner with customers to design and deploy intelligent applications using Python and related technologies.

The FDE role offers hands-on engineering experience, leading GenAI application deployments, and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver high-impact solutions. Candidates should have extensive experience in software engineering with a strong cloud services background.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in software engineering or solutions engineering in a customer-facing capacity.
• Proven expertise in Python, Langchain, LangGraph, and SQL.
• Deep experience with engineering architecture, including APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Demonstrated success in deploying GenAI applications into production environments.
• Strong proficiency with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical complexity to customers.
• Comfortable working autonomously on multiple deployment tracks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end deployment of GenAI applications for customers.
• Architect and implement robust, scalable solutions using relevant technologies.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to understand customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with various teams to influence product capabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable code and build reusable modules.
• Operate across cloud platforms to ensure secure infrastructure.
• Improve deployment tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
