Job summary

Wealthfront Corporation is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join a cross-functional scrum team. You will design and develop client-facing features using our Design System, while enhancing infrastructure and developer productivity across the web platform.

Collaborating with backend and mobile engineers, designers, and product managers, you will triage issues, mentor peers, and participate in recruiting. This role supports US-based remote work or Palo Alto hybrid in-office arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a web-focused engineering role.
• Strong deep understanding of JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Experience with design to build custom pages and components with responsive CSS.
• Familiarity with test-driven development, CI, and automated testing.
• BS or MS in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features.
• Triage and resolve operational issues to keep mission-critical web systems running.
• Contribute to web platform infrastructure to improve health and performance.
• Participate in recruiting activities such as interviewing.
• Provide mentorship to other engineers on the team.
