Wealthfront is hiring a Remote Software Engineer, Frontend. This full-time position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a base in Palo Alto, CA or remote within the USA.

You will build user interfaces with JavaScript, React, Vue, Angular, and related tech, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality web features. The role emphasizes performance, design system integration, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities for mentoring and growth

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in a web-focused engineering role.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript ES5+ and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience with server-side frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Django or Express is a plus.
• Experience building responsive pages with custom CSS and design system components.
• Experience with test-driven development, CI, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend, mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features.
• Triage and resolve operational issues across the web platform.
• Contribute to web platform infrastructure to improve health and performance.
• Participate in recruiting activities such as interviewing.
• Mentor other engineers on the frontend team.
